Forced and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act

As of January 1st, 2024, the Government of Canada has introduced new legislation, the Forced and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act, which requires entities and government institutions doing business in Canada to submit an annual report and completed questionnaire by May 31 of each year, detailing their efforts to prevent and mitigate forced labour and child labour in their supply chains.

Expressways' Commitment

The Expressway Group of companies has adhered to the requirements of this legislation by completing the online questionnaire through Public Safety Canada, and by submitting a report to the Minister of Public Safety reflecting on the activities from our previous financial year. We will continue to provide an updated report and completed questionnaire annually, as outlined in the legislation requirements.
